If your tax affairs are simple and you earn less than $60,000pa you could be eligible for FREE help with your tax return. To check you are eligible call Australian Tax Office (ATO) 13 28 61 or visit www.ato.gov.au/taxhelp.

Tax Help assistance is available at the Greenacre Area Community Centre from August – October. This service is provided by a Tax Help Volunteer through the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) once a week, free for anyone with income below $60,000. Please allow 1 hour for your appointment.

If you are unable to pay a fine and you meet the eligibility criteria, you can apply for a WDO through our centre. We are an accredited WDO provider.   

A WDO helps you to pay off your fine by doing unpaid work, courses, counselling, mentoring or treatment programs. 

Only applications for fines above $500 will be considered.

We offer emergency food relief to help the local community access low-cost, long-life groceries and essential items when they need them most. Our aim is to make sure everyone in the community has support during difficult times.

This service is available by appointment only, so please give us a call to arrange a time during office hours. You are also welcome to drop in to our office in person.
